Kampa Awning Attach to Transit Custom with Pop Top

Hello, first post and hopeful of some help, we have a ford transit custom 2019. Having recently converted him into a camper with a pop top. We have a Kampa Motion Air Awning which we are looking for ways to attach. Ideally looking to avoid fixing of a permanent bulky rail. So ideally some form of temporary attachment.

I have a 2018 custom and attach a vango awning tent using a 6mm kador strip. The rail is from vamoose and is very tidy. Our van is dark blue and the black rail is hardly noticeable. We don’t have a pop top on yet but it will not interfere with the rail when we do.

I think it’s an easy DIY job to fit one of these, but vamoose charge £20 for delivery or £30 for installation and since we weren’t too far away from then I let them do it.
