Bulkhead question

Postby bobinscot » Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:45 am

Just started to think about converting my 2007 lwb high roof transit to a camper van so many questions but the first one is do I remove the bulkhead, leave it in but maybe cut a narrow access door in the middle or just leave it as is ?
Also any links to good info and starting points for a complete novice would be appreciated

I’d remove it and fit seat swivels gives so much more room as I’ve done with all my vans.

Definitely no bulkhead, swivel seats or not. Two reasons:

1. Your passenger(s) can climb in the back to get food when you're stuck in never-ending traffic.
2. If the weather's a bit chilly, when you arrive the back will be warm. With a bulkhead it will be arctic.

You're going to insulate the back so it won't be rattly and cold when you're driving like a van is.

The bedroom on my van gets no heat when traveling opened the door once when I parked up and a penguin had frozen solid
