How is this project going??

We have a highly similar undertaking -
I have just taken posession of an F reg lwb camper.
The funny thing is that it is the same factory blue, but has been repainted in what looks like beige masonry paint!

I will post pics of my steed any day now, have just joined the forum after months of lurking.

Hope yours is doing well.

I had a 1988 Transit 80 camper conversion that started life as a van. It had the same roof, which I didn't realise was a factory installation. The back doors were original low-roof height. What I did know about mine was that the original owner kept a detailed log of it. He'd bought it as a van (orange, not blue!) with 38,000 miles on it and had it converted by a now-defunct company called Machzone (I believe from the Hull area). I always imagined they had fitted the roof.
Drink moderately, eat healthily, exercise regularly, die anyway.
