New Van Bought!

Postby Dave46049 » Wed Aug 11, 2021 5:37 pm

Ok, so I've bought my van - a 2016 panel van.

Getting a row of two seats fitted behind the front row so I have 5 passenger seats.

Next getting, flooring insulation done as well as windows on both sides and rear.

And lastly a 700mm sq "cupboard" to put a portable cassette toilet in.

Should be on the road by end of September!

Just wondering about accessories I may need - think a barn door awning looks worthwhile - cheap and gives that bit of extra space.

Anything else that would be worthwhile ( but easy to do ? ).

Thanks

Let us know where you're getting your awning.
So, you're going to have 5 seats, how many are you going to sleep?

So 5 seats , but it will initially be used as just a day van - no sleeping.

I’m going to get an awning for the barn doors first.

Conversion is going to take a while, just getting the Main stuff done this year.

I think you should replace your row of seats with a sofa bed, so you will have more room to sleep, very convenient.
