Just use my phone in a screen mounted holder & google maps with Android Auto - I don't really see the need for anything else - guess it is down to personal choice.
My wife has a Nissan Qashqai with built in satnav & it's rubbish!

Yes my Toyota sat nav is also rubbish for my satnav in my camper I’m using a Tom Tom HGV full Europe and I’m not impressed with it the Waze app is not bad and gives real time road updates

I have a satnav in the Focus, but I always use Waze on the smartphone which is mounted on a powered holder in front of the dash. Waze is always up to date, (apart from the odd road that pops up overnight), and has live road info and traffic, the sat nav has none of this and is always out of date, even with the latest SD card.

I have a Tomtom for the van, and haven't used it for years :roll:
