Calorifier

Hi all, i am looking at installing a Calorifier in to a Mk8 and although i am ok with the positioning and all the connections on the Calorifier i am a little confused as to the hoses connections from the van, i have read and seen a few videos although content is quite limited on-line of guys cutting in to both heater hoses some just cutting in to one heater hose and returning to the same hose, some cut in to just the top heater hose in the engine bay before it goes through the bulkhead to the heater some cut in to the bottom hose, one guy even saying only buy a twin coil unit and connect heater hoses to both coils as it will heat the water up quicker if anyone has any advice or links to any schematics / videos i would appreciate it

Maybe those videos from Alex Frood will help. Not a calorifier but a preheater, the "T" related things are pretty much the same.
