Split charge question

Hi all
Just wondering if this is correct. I removed my leisure battery to to get access while doing a job and was surprised to still have power to my lights , fridge, etc from the starter battery. I have a Amber Valley Developments split charge relay fitted. I didn't think it would allow power from the starter battery to the auxiliary fittings that the leisure battery power or is this correct?

Just read up on my particular split charger and it's because my starter battery has more than 12.6 volts in it.
