Seats

Hi fellow Transiteers. Could anyone recommend what alternative seats can be used in the front of a 2017 Transit ? They are being sold on eBay for silly money. I would
like to change the double seat for a single and the drivers seat is a bit worn. I wonder if seats from a Volvo or Range Rover might fit?

Over the years I’ve fitted all sorts of seats to my transits usually make my own subframe from angle iron but from the mk6 on it’s been easier if you get a driver’s side seat box for the passenger side and you will be able to make up brackets to fit any seat you like i can’t recommend any specific seat but if you do a search on here there are posts on what members have fitted and how.

Just had another thought if you are going to fit swivelling base's it would be easier as all you need is a seat with the right width and drill holes through the runners to fit them you may have to remove any side mounting brackets off the side of the runners.
