Treating plywood lining

Postby Bibcamper » Mon Feb 24, 2025 9:29 pm

Hi,

I'm currently converting into a camper, putting plywood on the walls, floor and ceiling.
Do I need to treat or seal this plywood in any way before carpet lining to prevent moisture/mould?
Would Beeswax do the trick?

Thanks

I’ve always used marine ply glued carpet on it for insulation I’ve waxoiled the van panels and used the recycled plastic bottle insulation and never used vapour barrier I use my van all year round marshalling on car rallies and never had a damp problem I’m now on my 7th van .
