Looking for A4LD Specialist / Full Gearbox & Torque Convert

Hi all,

I’m looking for solid recommendations (UK-based ideally) for a complete A4LD automatic gearbox rebuild, including the torque converter, on my Ford Transit motorhome:
• Model: Ford Transit Mk3 (approx. 1991)
• Engine: 2.0L Petrol, converted to LPG
• Transmission: A4LD automatic
• Reg: H226 WRB

The van is otherwise in great shape, and I’d like to get the transmission fully refreshed rather than risk piecemeal fixes.
I’m looking for someone (or a workshop) who knows these older Ford units properly — especially the quirks of the A4LD — and can do a comprehensive rebuild, not just a band-aid service.
