Can anyone show me what they have done to modify their handbreak.

2022 2.0 ecoblue fwd, 72k
2009 2.2 tdci 115ps just over 110k now.
2002 2.0 tddi 100ps. Over 205k still sweet . Now owned by Jay.

You can get a dropper plate from someone like Magnan moterhomes Grimsby that’s what I fitted to my latest van but for my mk 6 and the previous mk 8 i drilled the mounting holes lower in the seat box I also had to trim the bottom of the seat plastic sides but you still have to have the handbrake off to swivel the seat when I get time I’m going to adjust the handbrake cable I did it on the mk6 and it helps depending on how level the ground is or on levelling ramps

There was a kit for the mk 6 and a handbrake that had a extra pivot of it near the base so when you pull the brake on the ratchet and Paul held it on and the long handle fell flat but I never found any of them
