It does look good, i just stand back and watch work ha, wouldnt have a clue how to make anything like that to be honest. The bed before was well over the top, was all made from 2x2, so we went for pine to lose some weight and its worked out really nice.

Im thinking about pine tops for the bed and table but im getting back to the heavy side. So im going to go for 12m Ply and sand it up and laquer it, think the two colour/ wood types will go well once the pines all waxed and stained.

Hi there.

Good looking work there.

Is the tented awning a standard job from camping shops? How much do they cost, and how are they fixed to the van?

Cheers,

DB

The whole Cooker/ hob/ fridge unit was taken out of a Caravan, just the whole unitthen plumbed in!

The awning was bought seperate, think they are common. You get a thin metal runner that screws to the top of the van. The awning just slides in and then sets up like a dome tent. And there is a seperate slider at the bottom for a wind break that flops down to the floor.

Its not a drive away, but makes the van seems so much more spacious and takes about 15 minutes to set up
