digi box in the van?

just messing with a few thing over the weekend and found a panasinic didi box in the the loft which is a 15v so logicaly it should run from the van has anybody else tried this?

easy mate....ive got 2 digi boxes in mine 
getting a good signal is the frustrating bit. most of us regular campers have boosters on our aeriels
