MK1 CI Camper - 3 Way Fridge

OK - stupid question here, but how do you use the 3 way fridge on Gas?

It's the original Electrolux 212 fridge and I can't seem to light it...or if it is alight - how do I tell? There does not appar to be anywhere to view the pilot light!

I'm not sure what model it is but my fridge has a wee spy-hole on the inside bottom left, perhaps this link will help

the very early fridges had a knob on the bottom you had to turn quite briskly that had a rod with a flint and stell arrangment on the end! of course while holding the gas know in to keep the gas flowing until the thermo couple warms up. they do from time to time need a service, the jet replacing and the chimney sweeping.
