Hi there has any one got a drive away awning for there van, and if so what are they like to attach to the side of your van, as i'm looking for one with bedrooms inside (got 3 kids), any help will be heplfull :D

i have a drive away awning think its called a suncamp moto,bit like a tunnell tent but has a flappy end which attaches to the van via a metal pole clamped onto the gutter.it also has an inner tent which you can put a double blow up bed/matress in.
and its big enough to park a mk2 escort in :wink: :lol:

if you want to see this there are pics of it fixed on my van in the shows and meetings gallery at the north weald meet this year :D

Yeh, I've just fitted a sunncamp awning to my transit 260, fitted a plastic awning rail to the side of the roof, it is'nt a stand alone/drive away one but it give you twice as much room and more privacy when its all closed up.
