Help with Camper cupboards

Postby Burgman » Sun Jul 19, 2009 12:00 pm

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the process of replacing the back panel / cross member on my Mk3 SWB camper, not surprisingly I found more rot than I hoped for / expected. The end section of the chassis where the rear spring hanger's are mounted and the end by the back wheel arches are totally gone. My question is how are the cupboards and floor removed ?, I've taken out the screws that screw the cupboards to the floor and the few I can see holding them to the van sides but I can pull as hard as I like but still no movement, are they glued in as well as screwed ? are they assembled in place or built then put in the camper ? I really can't see how they're fitted !

It's a high top Mk3 but I don't know the make of conversion, although it has HIGHLANDER on the roof

HELP !!!!
