I've started, but will I finish?

I say that as more often than not I'm the king of unfinished projects (don't mention the bathroom in front of the missus!)

So sikoflex'ed (it's white, was a quid cheaper than black!) some battons to the roof, got a right dollop on me works t-shirt!... Will pull tape off 2moro, got 4 more space blankets from wickes...

Grrr... Bloody doubters.... I'll be at it again at the weekend.
I'm not going to carpet it! Instead I'm going to paint it with cuprinol shades fence paint! This may sound crummy but I painted my summerhouse (inside) with it and was impressed, covers in one coat, doesn't look like fence paint! Doing it in 'silver birch' Grey to you and me... Hopefully this will make it look airey??? but hopefully not cold, second choice would have been a blue, but seeing as I already had a full tin of grey scuppered that plan ;)
Forgot to mention, stuck a CB Twig on the roof before fitting the ply.... and no! I didn't have my body warmer on whilst I was doing it

Ok, rained off... but run some cables for mains (invertor) and 12v and lights, insulated one quarter (good dowsing of cavity wax), had to take the side door runner off as it had some rust behind and painted that quarter to see what it's like...

Suprisingly still at it.... took boards up, floor was good :) tiny amount of bulging coming from a chassis rail, just waxoyled it.
insulated floor with some 3mm foil lined foam:

And fitted 3 flou tubes, didn't do led as it's not very bright and always looks blue! My timer on/off switch at the top, times out after 10 mins so never forget to turn 'em off :)

I didn't appreciate the time and effort (and cost) that goes into this crack... Looking at some other conversions mine looks poor! but in my defence, mines 'still' a van.

Made a battery box to take liesure batt for the invertor:

And finally (bought it 2 year ago!) fitted the rubber chequer plate on the floor, spent 25 quid on contact adhesive!!:

You do yourself an injustice, your van is looking great :)

Cheers singh, it was a pretty penny, 60 quid springs to mind! but I bet there's enough to do 2 SWB floors, downside is it stinks like a condom factory ;)
