gas installer req!

hi,
i am in the process of converting my LWB Hi top into a camper van,however my insurance company that i signed up with on the 29th july have now advised me that they will be with holding my certificate,until i have the gas "set up"( bottle secured in back of van in a cupboard,with drop vent etc) connected/installed by a competant person who can issue me with a certificate to certify the work.
Please can anyone recomend someone that can carry out the above requirement???

log on to the gas safe register site and look for company's in your area and check to see if they cover lpg/leisure then start phoning for quotes

I got my gas installation checked by a local Calor main dealer. It cost 30 quid and took about 1/2 an hour. Had to change the black rubber hose from the regulator to gas pipe for a new orange one (1.99). I did all the installation myself and he simply checked it. The peace of mind is worth every penny
It's a good idea to speak to them before you do any work as there are many things like compression fittings, stop-cocks for isolation and copper piping that need to be used to get a certificate.
