My Jumbo

After a camping trip earlier this year in whoch we completly filled an Audi A6 Avant and roof box we decided that it was time to get something a little bigger. Seeing as I grew up around custom vans I decided that a van was in order. It needed to be capable of two things though.

1) Carry four
2) carry the windsurf gear inside.

So a 2004 125hp 350 JUMBO crewcab was sourced. Complete with microwave, water heater, hand wash and Eberspacher D2 night heater.

The first job was to get the boards in:

Next the sides were boarded and carpeted:

Then the very end was boxed in to make a wet area for the windurfing gear and wet boots with a rail for the wet suits above it. A wide bech was also built with lots of storage under it:

Sorry forgot to take pictures before using the van on Sunday.

Have had it for two weeks now and am loving every minute of it.

Wont do anymore to it now until the new year when I will put a fridge etc into it.
