Look, we've been patient. Are there any pictures yet?
I've rebuilt a Defender, several motorcycles and quite a bit to both a Mk6 & 7 Transit. Now bought a new Custom and just doing a few small bits to it.

Your Ford A-Series is a rare find, even in its current state. Since the "M" registration confirms it is a 1973 or 1974 model, enthusiasts will value the original six-cylinder York engine and the salvageable tipper body. Because these parts are becoming harder to source, offering it for free is very generous and ensures it might help keep another classic vehicle on the road rather than being scrapped.

Given the extensive cab rot and its long stay in Portishead, interested buyers should definitely bring a trailer for transport. Since you are offering it for free, I recommend uploading those photos soon. Collectors often look for usable chassis and mechanical components like yours for their own restoration projects. It is a great opportunity for a local hobbyist to save a piece of vintage British trucking history before it is gone.
