my old mans got a A series pick up and would like to know what front axle would be interchangeable to convert it to disc brake setup? heard about Iveco and ldv's being good donors etc but would like to know for certain off the experts etc .....many thanks for any info guys! :)
if its got tits-wheels-turbo's-speakers then its got my full attention.

all I know is it started off life with a 4 cylinder York lump in it, its got flared front aches and transit mk2 doors, ill try and get some piccys

VERY similar to this one but with REALLY bulky flared front arches

The front axle might fit :wink: Ldv will be too light and Iveco is independent suspension :)

814 vario bus I do for a guy,
vented discs, 4 pot hydraulic calipers, 6 stud hubs, steering box type steering and mounted on leaf springs
king pins, bearings and discs easily available and not too pricey for what they are
calipers can be dear but keep an eye on the dust seals and they should have a good lifespan

I'll throw a tape measure across the axle next time I see him

the dodges are possible candidates aswell almost same axle configaration not sure if anybody has attempted this conversion but if a donor chassis is availible worth a go biggest issue is parts becoming hard to source aswell ...
