cabinmount rubber

Postby sven » Sat Aug 22, 2009 11:02 pm

I am prepairing my A series resto now, and have noticed that the cabin is mounted on the chassis with three large rubbermounts...

does anyone know what I can replace them with... will rubber engine mounts be strong enough for this as I dont' count on ford supplying new ones.

Hi
While ago I removed cabin from my a-series.
In front you can use normal engine mount rubber just find correct size
At rear two mounts are different the mounting bolt goes trought the rubber and the rubber is mounted
to frame bracket. It could be difficult to find that kind of universal rubbermount.
