Hello,

At the end of the week I'm going to look for a Ford A 0609 SWB Campervan.

I have searched the internet, but there is almost nothing to find.

So, if anyone has anny good tips, I would be much obliged.

Found a site with some A-series foto's:
http://www.travellerhomes.co.uk/?p=3674.

Well, we will see next week if I bought the verhicle, if it doesn't excist only out of rust.

Possible D series D0809 king pins will fit, they had the same axle :)

I dunno bout the brakes as I fitted the whole lot, rear axle too with 17.5 wheels. The basic axle looked identical though, maybe you can swap hubs?

Thanx for the input.

My Englisch is'nt so good, at first I thought a kingpin is a 'bullet-joint' (fuseekogel).
But if you have 'flatsprings' of course you don't need them.

A kingpin is a rod? Like a joint on a door?

That is not difficult to make.

The power of simplicity of things build by Ford ...

How are the brakes on this kind of verhicle, I hope now drums at the front!!!!
Is it like the Transits?

A well, I wil see it next week and hope everything works out ...

I'll then will post some pic's.

YEEEEEHHHH,

I bought the rustbucket ...

It will need a lot of TLC, but the basics are fine.

The most work will be on the body and the insite (there is almost none).

Wenn I have the camper at home I will post some pics.
