Hello from a new Transit minibus owner!

I've just got a 2013 Mk7 minibus and I'm already doing lots to it!
Todays jobs were; refit knackered tow bar electric socket, install reverse camera, hardwire dash cam, fit new upper driver door seal, fit new rear tow bar step, fit missing interior grommets and sticker the hell out of the inside with no-smoking/seatbelt signs.

It's a work bus (PSV on a restricted Operators licence) to replace a 1999 LDV Convoy - what a difference! I bought it at auction (online) from Merthyr Tydfil, and they didn't quite show all the bad bits (2 torn seats, worn out lower door slider, busted indicator stalk, brake pedal switch and two leaking door seals) but it's mint underneath and given that it's only done 34000, I'm not going to take it back! However, others may not have bid quite so high, had the details been shown clearly, so it's a bit naughty and I wouldn't go back to them on principle.

This weekends jobs will be; fit Pure 600 DAB, clean all the door seals and engine bay, Back to Black the plastic and give it a clean ready for sign writing on Monday.

I'll only be doing 4000-5000 miles a year and it will be kept under cover, so it should last me for at least 10 more years (fingers crossed!).

I've already used the forum to gain knowledge on battery charging, door sliders, etc, so thanks for that and no-doubt I'll be back for more information soon!
