Bought a blind project (no inspection prior to purchase) lol

2009 Transit 2.2 tdci FWD euro 4 MWB, known faults on purchase were: No 4th gear, Starting issues, turbo fault, steering issues, Water ingress from roof vent + inside windscreen and corrosion to floor.

Fixed water issues, replaced vent for a skylight and resealed the outer gutters as they were leaking into the cab.
I fabricated and welded 2 new steps plus repaired a few patches underneath then gave it a good scrub with wire brush and 3 coats of waxoyl front to back!!
Managed to find a cheap 6 spd gearbox from a scrapy for £200!!! Only had 90000 on the clock. Not the lightest of boxes but got it on eventually. Lol
Iv also installed: recon clutch, 2 new driveshafts, 2 wishbones, 2 inner and outer tie rods, 2 link arms, 1 front bearing, and sets of brake pads all round.

Next job is to work on the starting issues but i'll make new post for that.
