Hello to everyone on the forum

Postby BigNeil » Mon Jan 01, 2007 11:55 pm

have been reading advice about resistors, and swiches. sounds wonderful.

have just purchsed first transit. from reading posts, i seem to have a 1999, Mk5 "smiley". and i know it is 190 xlwb with semi roof (long cube) as that is what it was described as.

it has developed some irratations on my first long haul(120 miles) which is how i came to find this lovely treasure trove of information.

have just ordered haynes automanual, but may not need as the posts seem to be descriptive.

i look forward to posting soon, once i read the correct terminology from other posts, and to writing to some of you over the next few weeks, days and years with my purchase.

regards

thank you very much for your instant replies.

andyg : is it really rare to own a long cube or have a just bought such a rare thing that it will be difficult to find parts for?

or is it only when i need an exhast that this will be an issue.

anyway am sure that it is just the same as a normal transit just a wee bit longer!!!

however thank you again for the warmth of the welcome.
