Hello and thanks for letting me join

Hello, I've just become the proud? owner of a rather rusty but very cheap 2002 MK6 85/280 FWD MWB MH panel van. I've got parts on order to replace rear wheel cylinders and driver's side outer cv joint. That will get it safe enough to drive to where I can work on it under cover. The outer sills both sides are pretty non-existent as are a fair chunk of the inners, so I'm expecting to do a fair bit of welding. It's only for a workhorse, so I won't be worrying about originality or winning any awards for outstanding finish.

Thanks for the welcome chaps.

Slight correction to make. Looking at the dates on the glass (05) and DVLA website, which says manufacture date 2006, first reg date Jan 2006, it would appear that I have a 2006 van. Hard to believe that it's only 12 years old when I look at the state of it. :D
