Newbie in Essex

Hi All, a newbie in Essex here, first name is Richard.

First time van owner and I have bought a 62 plated Transit lwb high roof. With the 2.2 engine, with 149k miles.

It's an ex network rail mess van, these are a T350 lwb high roof crew cab, then there is conversion work done by Clark's from new. Its equipped with twin auxiliary batteries, a 1kw inverter, it has a bulkhead fitted behind 3 extra seats. This crew area is insulated and lined. Its then equipped with a handwash basin, a water boiler for tea and a microwave, as well as 2 20a ciggy lighter sockets, and a diesel night heater..

In the rear section I am going to have a chemical toilet.

First project is a reversing camera, so that I don't hit anything! I had a reversing camera in my previous vehicle which was a 4x4

I must say it's a real treat to find a forum with some technical knowledge and content.

I am a member of a Jaguar forum and there is no real technical content, just "I took a week off work, and detailed my car to within an inch of its life and here is a photo just before it rained, I used this that and the other products!"

And if you should suggest changing your own brake pads the response is.......oh no! I cannot believe you would risk your life to save a few quid, trust it to the Stealers they are the experts!
