Hi
I'm looking for info about Lucas epic diesel pump.
My van got immobilised after problems with the pump, namely starting on the cold engine.
I am looking forward to find some answers there, although i am aware of bad reputation of the pump in terms of repair and also if the age of the car (mk3)

There are only really 2 problems with EPICS that cause immobiliser issues (except lost keys etc)
1) - ECU failure (very rare, only seen it twice)
2) - Fuse/Relay issues in the auxillary fuse box under the bonnet.
Post your problem with more details in the mk3/4/5 section and we can go from there
