It's great to be here. No, really ! I have recently bought a very clean ex-Virgin Media Transit Mk 7 I think it's medium roof MWB. 57k miles on the clock and very well looked after I would say. I'm an enthusiastic DIY'er with a fair bit of experience in the motor trade (mostly electrics, communications and audio etc. so hopefully I'll be able to chip in with a few helpful posts somewhere down the line, as well as learning new stuff from experienced Transit owners, cos no matter how old I get every day's a school day ( I'm a full OAP bus pas holder.... ) . Had a few of the usual Transit problems to sort out already, rear lamp clusters and wiring/ multi plugs damaged by rust, but I managed to sort those out nicely. And I sorted out the side door rollers and guide rail, maybe there's a thread in there for my first project report. But then again, no doubt it's been well covered already....
Looking forward to getting the green light from Mods. Be seein' ya.
