Thanks for having me on the forum. Been looking on it for a while after buying “Ned the Shed” back in August.
Jobs done so far have mainly about addressing an issue of cutting out (and its running far better):
- oil change and treatment
- Fuel filter change and treatment
- EGR clean
- Window wiper linkage change and wipers
- New ABS sensor
- new N/S rear light
- new alternator, tensioner, idler and auxiliary belt (proper saga with one of the tensioner lugs shearing and seized in place )
It’s just run out of MOT so the plan is to do all of the rear brakes (front is fine) and the handbrake cables.
I have also bought a MIG welder and am currently practicing on 1mm steel plate so that I can work my way around the van and get him back up to a good state.
Well - that’s me for now. Will look to pass on knowledge if I gain any and look forward to reading the great information on here.
