Hi everyone, my name is Carlos, I'm from Málaga, Spain. I recently bought a 2009 Transit AWD 2.4 140hp (former ambulance), and it's been converted into a camper.
I'm having a mechanical issue — there's a metallic noise and I'm not sure if it's coming from the connecting rod bearings. I was hoping someone in this forum could help me out, since you all seem to be real experts with these models. Over here in Spain, mechanics aren't that familiar with the AWD version.
What do you think of these engines mechanically? Thanks a lot and best regards!
