Hi everyone!

I am a 29 year old male who lives in Norway.
I recently bought a 1982 model Ford Transit Pickup with twin rear wheels. I am not sure whether it has long or short wheelbase.
It has a 2.4 diesel engine, "York" I believe. It needs some restoration, and i hope it will be back on the road for the next summer.

I hope you will be nice to me here. :)

Hi,

I am not a technical expert, but was lucky enough to live in Stavanger for 3 years. Thats where we got our first Transit, used mainly to go skiing to Hovden, Hemsedal & Geilo.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi!

I live on a farm, about 1 hour driving south-east of Oslo. I have not been in Stavanger yet, and I am not very much of a skiier either.

Thanks! :)

Thanks!
Yes I did, even though I am not a nerd. :)
I am going to restore her, and then use it for work until one of my other cars are roadworthy again. :)

I am just hoping I will remember to take some photos along the way...

Does anyone know the colour-code on my car? :)
And where is the VIN plate?? I have looked for it, but can not find it. :)

yes, you must take some pics, I often forget and wished I had!

As to the colour, the VIN plate in the UK is on the passenger step, if it's on the same side regardless of where the driver sits, it's on your side! Post the code for the paint when you find the VIN plate, and I am sure somebody will be able to tell you what it should be. All I know is BK is Genetian blue and FB is Diamond White, but yours isn't either of those!

I will write up a new camera on my christmas wishlist then. ;)

I have looked for it on the driver side, but could not find it.
But then I am sure it is on the other side. I will check tomorrow. :)

Thanks very much! :)

I that case, it must always be on the passenger side, where ever the passenger sits.
