Ford Factory Vist Summer

When we went down to Southampton last year there was a invite extended for us to return to the Final Staff BBQ being held at the plant in July, Was this ever followed up or are there any plans for us to go down ?

Funny you mention this, we where talking about this a week or so back... Sadly nothing has been arranged for the closing day (25th July) and it could be a bit tight to arrange something now, Ive lost the contact details, so if anyone has them to hand let me know and I will see what we can do. I know that it will be limited numbers, so we may have to limit this to 2 models of each marque

Factory not closed until late July.Spoke with Barry today and there is now no big closure celebration as talked about previously. It was thought a good idea a few months ago,but with 750 or so losing their jobs it was considered to be a no,no.Petervanlee is arranging a factory visit and this will be a few weeks before the closure date.
I did try!!
