Hello everyone.
I will try to describe my struggles with the engine swap in the Mk6 Transit.
By default, the car had a 2.4tddi 90 HP engine, but as expected, the injection pump failed. Due to the general condition of the engine (leaks, etc.) and low power, I did not want to invest in it.
This is how the idea of swapping the engine for something less faulty and more powerful was born. The choice fell on the M57D30 from BMW.
I left the gearbox from the Transit because the BMW gearboxes have shorter gear ratios.
The m57 adapter for Transit mt82 2.2 is available in the UK but I wasn't sure if it would fit and it costs £500.00.
