what tools can you lend to the project?

Look in here for details of the fourms weekend makeover project. We will be doing a Transit restoration project over a few weekends and auctioning it off for charity once completed. Everyone is welcome to come along and take part.

I'll have my van full of its usual kit which includes lots of small hand tools, a few drills, grinder etc

All I have can be used, nothing special, pigeon poo gasless welder, BBQ ( :twisted: ), spanners, tools, hammer and angle grinder :twisted: :twisted: :lol: :lol: That's all I'm using :roll: I have a dent puller (hammer) which I haven't worked out yet how to use :oops:

This is my best tool.

Seriously though, I have various tools, 3 roller cabs full infact. From 1/4 inch socket sets right up to inch drive stuff, spanners from BA right up to 4 1/2 inch. Various power tools and air tools. And some bloody big hammers.

ive got the most inpotant tool :roll: :roll: hob and kettle with grill then a porta loo :lol: no serisly if i can il help out with the above plus its got a shower aswell if any good to u :wink:

very usefull for welding underneith 8)

lovin this :mrgreen: tell me luke when u let the van back on its wheel do u leve it a couple of hrs 2 let the oil drain back down or drain them b4? how dose the engine take it on its mounts? im very very intrested as me van needs loads doing undr neth and im struggling more these days thanks

No problem if you want to take it :) If I hadn't snapped my thigh bone while in hospital I would be going myself.

Also I have these brand new complete with four Michelin Agilis 225/65/16 tyres fitted if you want them for the project van only someone will have to collect as leg is in a brace and I cannot get in the van to drive.

If no-one closer to you can pick the wheels up and store them I will, but if they are not in the way we have loads of time till next summer.
