Hi Geoff, not sure if we have spoken before, but no problem if not.Luke and I had a chat today over paint amounts and we both thought we need to contact you.
I may have a contact to provide paint at cost, what do we want and how much would we need to get a reasonable end result.
You might well have this in hand............if so just ignore this.
Look forward to meeting you.

:) any good sculpters on here :?:  we are gonna need them :!: this vans a battered example before weve started cutting it and stitching it back together :!: we are going to need a few tins of filler (easy 1 :D ) loads of 40 and 80 grit for the long bed sanders or abranet and long blocks, da pads, and i dont/havent used it often but i think it will be necessary, spray filler ! then a good 5 litres of 2k primer ( i will supply that, i have a supplier that has one thats like thick custard and dosent sink too bad !) then i dont think wet flat, i think da the primer with fine da pads ready for paint ( unless anyone thinks different :?: its a time thing :) ) then you need to decide on the colour or colours, inside the shuts etc, we will need a fair bit of paint, also what system ?? clear over base or straight 2k cryl :?: if we go clear over base i have a good supplier for laquer  better start talking :D

if it a time thing, then 2k solid is the best route, base and clear will take longer,
as for flatting the primer, just DA it back with 400/500

the problem with doing 2 colours is you need to leave the first colour to dry for a day before you can mask up for the second colour.
so from start (spraying top coat) to finish (put it back together) you are looking at 3 days

base coat and clear with 2 colour will be faster, will take just under 2 days.base 1 colour (alway the lighter colour first) leave to dry mask for second colour unmask clear coat the whole van leave for a day,can speed it up with rocket in the clear coat,if very careful can start fitting it back up after 3-4 hours of clear coating
