Look in here for details of the fourms weekend makeover project. We will be doing a Transit restoration project over a few weekends and auctioning it off for charity once completed. Everyone is welcome to come along and take part.

need self ajuster and springs for rearbrake drums
rear axle piped up with flexi to body
and spare t piece a four way would look better if one about
will bring set new shoes

Self adjuster and springs are all in a white bucket or similar either in the van,with Luke or was all taken out al Nicks,so could be at ashford now :roll:
MM might have a spare T.Hey matt?

ok guys these are the parts we need for makeover 4½

unfortunatly although we started with 2 vans we've managed to loose a lot of parts over the 5 locations the vans been to :(

so if you can donate any of these please post up :D

o/s/f door mirror (mk3/4) or a pair of mk5 mirrors
n/s/f trim that surrounds door mirror (mk3/4)
1 x wiper arm
2x wipers
front headlining
front rubber mat
radio (ive got this just forgot to bring it)
front disks/pads
2x front spring hangers
windscreen
2x front ¼lights & seals
2x front door cards
scuttle panel
grill
mk5 side indicator repeater
mk5 fuel filler cap surround
rear bumper
rear bumper end caps (mk5 preferably)
rear numberplate lights
seam sealer (tiger seal etc.)
waxoil and underseal

this stuff is still at fordboynicks - dieselhead123 will be collecting it for us
rear doors
side loading door
bonnet
rest of paint
ply??
alanN front bumper


we'll try copy/paste the list and highlight stuff as we have it :D

also if you can offer stuff but can't 100% guarentee you'll be at the next build either arrange to have it collected of post it to somone who will be there :D

What size are the speakers ? as i am changing my sterio over the week end and up rating the speakers so i will have a set of 2 year old mk7 door speakers going spare

front headlining
front rubber mat (got them both just picked the best of the 2)
rear bumper
grill
2x front door cards (not perfect but best of the 2 donors)

we've got some new front pads now so the brakes are all sorted :D

we need to make sure we've got all the parts that will stop it from getting an MOT so have a look through and if there's anything you can donate let us know 8)

Some ply sheets and a sheet of insulation is in the back of my van... Just dont think I can afford to drive all the way there in my V6

Ive got a pair of MK5 indicator repeaters from the wings, do you still need these? If you do send me a message and ill get them in the post.

Oh and I think I have a pair of 1/4 lights too (but I suspect the ones we cleaned up at Tims are probably at Nicks somewhere)
