Excellent work and incredible progress considering the lack of promised help :!:
Very well done to all those that have turned up and worked their socks off :!: :D

That includes the Catering department run by Nadjenka from my old but faithful MK5 :D

Just got home 1st time since thursday :D

i had an absolutely brilliant weekend - really enjoyed it 8) 8)

the highs - joining the 2 together, fireing it up seeing Tony reverse it out into the open for the 1st time anddriving it round myself 8) 8) and the laughs we had up till 2 in the morning

and the lows - realising the turnout wasnt going to be as good as expected, finding the V8 was not gonna run :( 4 days without a shower :x

but looking back the highs far outway the lows

but overall it was a blast BIG thanks to everyone who turned up - i'll not name names as nobody slacked out of doing anything and whatever the level of skill they had to add everyone put in the same effort 110% 8) 8) and dispite the close to the bone pisstaking no one fell out

certanly was a once in alifetime experiance - because i'm not doing that again  well maybe not .............

but still this isnt finished :!: :!: :!: - we achieved as much as humanly possable in the time we had with the low turnout and problems we had, gaz is still going to paint it and much of the build up is still to do so if you want to do a bit you still can we'll be back down tomorrow to carrry on - we will get this on the road and down to Transitmania if it kills us

Just got home again..

It was great to see it driving on six wheels 8)

Now we know it drives ok it will be even more incentive to get it finished for Transitmania (and after the dissapointment of the V8 being scrap I needed it :( )

I'll be back again in the morning :D

Had such a good weekend and made some great friends. I took over a hundred bits of video, which I will try and stitch together the best I can later this week, its not a full account of what went on, as they had a 2 day head start on me. Heres the moment it first moved.
