205/55R16 same as martins got on his mk5 ....................... infact thats who got me the tyres

3.12% smaller rolling radius than 185R14 - I guess the speedo should be pretty good still

I would have prefered to see something larger but if they are free we can;t complain

mk5 side indicator repeater
mk5 fuel filler cap surround

whats the chances of getting the front windscreen out

I asked my mobile screen fitter to save me a cracked one to replace so the screen could be used in the build, but the surrogate has a big chip that I didn't notice , not sure how it got there

if no one else is confident enough - i sprey things including wheels up all the time

i usualy prime them then 5-7 coats of paint - 5-7 coats of lacquer (lacker?)

mask the tires up with newspaper and tape

ill do them how ever you want really.....white i guess?
