Asked on the video, but thought better to ask here. Are both the axles driven?

The trailing axle is from a FWD Mk6. You can just about see that here:

The van in front is a Transit. It might be my Mk7 - follow the trail of rusty water: Diary of an Ordinary Van

yep as tony says if anyone fancys giving up a day or evening to work on the van drop me, Tony, Kev (Rover) or Gaz(GPM01) a PM or post up here - gaz will be doing the bodywork when he can but he'll definatly not say no to a hand and i'll be calling up after work in the evenings to do what i can :D
our plan is now to get it painted and MOT'd so we can get it to Transitmania as origanally planned - its not as far off as it looks most of the structural work has been done there is a bit of welding left - there is also mechanical work - for example fitting the powersteering kit we've got for it and fitting the larger calipers - if you think you can help let us know :!:

the Di :!: we just didnt have the turnout to get the V8 working - i'm sure if that was all he had to do Kev would have had a good chance of getting it going but with so little help in other areas he couldnt give it the time it needed - the origanal plan was while the van was being stripped he was going to get it started on the floor but as he spent all day helping strip the vans that couldnt be done so we had to fit it and try to get it running in the van but it wasnt going to be easy and a desicion was made to go back to the Di and at least that way we would have a running van by the end of the weekend :)
