We've got a provisional offer of a loan unit in Ipswich,there are a few drawbacks tho

to satisfy the insurance will need on site at all times

A fire warden
A H&S officer
A Qualified first aider

Does anyone have these qualifications or experiance in these areas mabe through your work and fancy coming along for the weekend either post up here of PM me

Also - we dont have to use this unit, ideally we could do with a more central location so if you know anywhere we could possably borrow (the weekend will be JULY/AUGUST 2011) then post up - it would be ideal if we had a choice of locations to pick from and also if one backs out then the whole project isnt in jeopardy

all the a unit would need is enough space to work on 2 vans and some electric power we dont need specialist lifts, ramps and cranes as we'll be bringing those with us. There would need to be a local area close by for us to park up and camp on tho

Having been a firefighter for 23 years I could cover all those for you…
Would not be able to commit though until I knew the dates as it would depend on my shifts.
But please put it down as a possibility.

Thats ok… all I need is a water pistol ( those with a backpack are great) a pack of plasters & bottle of eyewash & a large sign saying CAREFUL… should cover it all..

so i can help with the first aider as i teach the course
would need dates but shouldnt be a problem
and i am local ish
well half hour away

and do a mean bbq to feed ya

I am a search/fire marshall at work and would gladly pay the cost to do the first aid course

nice one guys it's good we can more volenteers than needed just incase somone has to back out - we dont want the whole project to fail because of it

same goes for the unit - if you know of some other unit we could potentially use please let us know - again we dont want to be given back word on this one at the last minute and be stuck with nowhere to do it
