I'm still saying, keep it here in the UK and no animal Charity's. Prefer a national children's or HFheros etc. and I my love animals.

If we can`t find something like a childs cancer/leukemia charity how about Hearing Dogs for The Deaf.Look it up.It`s fantastic what these dogs can do for deaf people. And it`s not really an animal charity.

Lots of medical charities pay for experiments on animals for drugs which then make people suffer & die, while making others rich! If it's to be a medical charity lets make it a humane one i.e. one that does not give money to vivisection which has left medical science in the dark ages while people & animals are alive & thriving on holistic, humane methods which are becomming increasingly more popular as people experience their successes. So we could choose http://www.humaneresearch.org.uk, this one saves both people and animals while causing harm to neither :)

British Heart foundation & Cancer research both use old, outdated & totally useless experiments on live animals.

Have you guys thought about doing a charity run in the van to raise money??

Say u guys who have built the van, organise a relay, Lands End to John o Groats.

Would prob raise a good few quid in sponsorship, If the van has forum decals it raises the groups profile, and it gives all those who so kindly gave up their time, labour, parts, and money all a chance to have a drive of the van.

Van can still be auctioned off at the end.

Charity wise, Help for Heros is a popular choice it seems, could be worth thnking along lines of beaulieu too, prob not the sort of charity that automatically springs to mind, but we are all vehicle enthusiasts, and anyone who has been there will appreciate what they do.
If it has four legs and is not a chair, has wings and is not an aeroplane, or swims and is not a submarine the Cantonese will eat it
