The build teams and who's doing what!

As mentiond before we are going to divide up everyone into teams - each team will have a 'leader' who will be responasble for achieving that teams objectives :D

Obviously the team leader will need to be there the whole weekend - or at least untill that teams work has been done - so obviously we need people we can rely on :!:

Ive not put anyone in a teamleader role without speaking to them 1st

you can see a breakdown of what each team is doing here :!:

if you would like to be in a certain team or fancy taking on the responsibility as a team leader the PM me :D obviously once we have the date and the location sorted then we can progress this further :D

also if you have to pull out please PM me to let me know :D

List of all volenteers so far - the 1st list is for those not allocated a team yet - if your on it PM me with what team you want to be in :D

Anymore volenteers for 'team leaders' :?:

as a 'team leader' you dont have to be the best at that area :!: - all we need is somone to organise that area of the build - you'll not be showing people how to do their job or anything :) we just somone who has organisational skills - make sure everything is on schedule and going to get done in time - we also need somone who's reliable who says they will be there they will :!:

you'll need to do stuff like make sure the parts for your area are there, as the jobs going on if your area is getting behind then bring it to my attention and if we can get other volenteers from other areas and divert them onto yours :D

as many people have pointed out this would be amazing if we actually get this done in the weekend  and without an organised structure like this we have no chance :(

Now we have the unit and the date set we need to get the 'team leaders' sorted :!: perhaps we should call them 'team captains' makre it a bit more informal

so we need somone to look after each of these areas

Bodywork team

Brakes & bearings man/men

Cleaning and fettling crew

ICE team

Mechanical team

and also we need some volenteers for actually doing the painting :D

still after volenteers for team captains :!:

we need someone to look after the  Brakes & bearings

what you'd need to do is be responsible for just the brakes on the van, basically check over all brakes, fit 6stud disks and callipers and servo to 5 stud hubs (all bolt on stuff) also run brake lines and handbrake cable. Also check over and refirb and setup wheel bearings, you'll also need to pipe up the 2nd axle and set the balance between them both so you will need to be a compitent mechanic :D

we're looking for at least 2 volenteers here - 1 main responsable guy and 1 assistant :D

and remember dont volenteer unless your definatly going to be there :!: we dont want the whole project ruined by key people not turning up  :(
