Help with buying a Mk8 Transit

Whats not to get here? Surely this extended frame is just the same wheel base as a lwb but with a bit longer chassis after the rear axel As always

It's called an ELWB, confusingly. But it's the same wheelbase as a LWB. And yes there's an L4 chassis. As well as an L5!!! Only in chassis though, not panel van! Again, that will just be same wheelbase as a LWB but the overhang will be enormous.

You sure about that i thought the L5 was going to have a longer wheelbase

The long overhang may actually have some advantages.

Sometimes in a crowded car park with small spaces it is hard to park a van - but there might be spaces along the edge of the car park that abut an unused, frequently grassy area.

In such circumstances you can back into the edge space and the huge overhang will be over the grassy area, thus preventing the nose of the vehicle from sticking out into the traffic lane.
