What is, Aux console - 2 din horizontal, in options list?

I'm reading the options list on the price list on the ford website and one option is listed as " Aux console - 2 din horizontal", what is that option? Anyone maybe can shed some light as to what it is or where its fitted in the van?

It's for fitting tachographs or taxi meters etc.
Not sure where it fits, on the Mk 7 it was on top of the dash

Just seen on a US spec version it is fitted in the overhead shelf.

(Nosing around ebay looking at the V6 autos that we don't get)

Managed very well with the range of Grannies that they were fitted to. So why not?

i had a mk2 3.0 V6 and the dealer at the time managed that ok (they have since gone ) but i wouldnt have much faith in the main dealers ive visited in the past couple of years maybe im alone in these thoughts and just been extremely unlucky ?

Well they are dirty once you remove the egr/dpf/adblue stuff. Have you ever seen one work without them?

i would rather have a petrol (not ford) than diesel especially as there all going to have adblue soon
