Ensure to turn off all equipment

discovered this last night on my way back from work last night.

A 2 month old transit mess van with smoke coming from it. upon knocking on allot of doors are 01:30AM I discovered the owner and he ran out and opened the side door to what looked like a control panel next to the microwave ( clearly left power linked to the auxiliary equipment) and must have left it unlocked on the street swell as by the time he go the van it was pouring with flames so the electrics wouldn't have functioned and the indicators never flashed to say he unlocked it. shortly after he had switched off whatever he left on the fire must have got into the rear load space where he had his compressor and nitrogen tanks to which soon caused a huge boom and allot of fire.

after the few minute wait the fire bridge arrived and put it out cutting the rear doors open i was with the guy when he was giving he is statement to the police and fire brigade and he said "nothing with left on and the van was locked it must have been someone smashing the window and seeing it alight" which was all untrue and every window was intact as i arrived on scene it was the fire that blew the windows.

so just a small reminder to turn everything off in your van.
