Yes pleasantly surprised right now, van has not broken down for over a week, not even an error code on the dash - although i have a couple on the code reader.

So pleasantly surprised - still its done a massive 105k miles now with a full history so cant expect it to last much longer i guess

Well done FORD

My tuppence to balance - I’ve been really impressed with my Mk8. After sorting a few issues when I first bought it, it’s been really reliable and good to drive (although I am used to old French cars). I’d definitely buy another, and they seem so much cheaper on the second-hand market than sprinters etc.

And my 16 plate 2.2 fwd has just over 150k with a sketchy service history and runs like a Swiss watch......all systems function as they should.....the aircon blows colder than an arctic wind (not needed at the mo....obviously)

I would seriously think about taking it in so a Ford garage can have your pants down while laughing all the way to the bank.

You’ve bloody jinxed it. I had no problems at all until I piped up to defend the Mk8, now in the past week I’ve had wiper motor failure and now suspected power steering pump or rack.
