Camper Van like a Faraday Cage - No Phone signal

Hi All,

Looking for some advice on how to stop my camper van conversion being a faraday cage and blocking all phone signal when I'm in the back. Has anyone ever tried a signal repeater before? Do they work? The reviews seems to be mixed and I'd rather not get something that requires a separate sim card because I'd like to avoid the ongoing costs.
Any suggestions appreciated!

What have you used to line the van out it may be giving trouble my van has no problem in the rear I’ve used recycled plastic bottles for my insulation.

We’ve used some plastic based insulation and a foil vapour barrier over the top. The signal is 10 time better if we reach through the hatch into the cab, but the second we leave the cab the signal is gone again…

There's your Faraday cage. People don't wear tinfoil hats for no reason

You could use a dongle with a antenna put it in the windscreen or put it outside on the roof and run the lead through the rear door just shut it carefully I used one before I got a tablet with a SIM card but I only used the antenna for better signal in weak areas.
