Looking for information on the mk8 m57 conversion, a write up or guide.
Done conversions before but I’d like it to be simple as possible as I will need to do it between work. I want a reliable work van that I can load up and pull a trailer for work hence the idea of the conversion.
I haven't bought a van or engine yet, is there any particular transits to avoid or is any engine better to use than others?
What kits needed etc
I’ve watched the syncro box video of the mk7 and seems simple enough but I’ve only drove these and with not being familiar with either the transit or BMW’s mechanics and electrics and model changes etc thought it best to check before I find I’ve got the one combination that won’t work
